SUPER DUPER SERIOUS GAME DAY PREDICTIONS, ROUND 3: CORNHOLE
The past two Monday mornings at HQ we’ve seen college football fans high-fiving victories or slinking low in defeat. We asked them to leave last weekend’s games in the past and help us predict this Saturday’s match-ups. We grabbed the TOMS cornhole boards, bags, and some competitive TOMS employees to toss up their predictions!
Chelsea (Florida) is a Gator to the core! When she showed up in her UF colors and face tats to challenge Sarah (Tennessee), Sarah was a little intimidated. Chelsea tossed first with serious determination, however, her bags landed everywhere but the target. Sarah stepped up and sunk the first bag, and that’s all it took! Smokey will be happy to hear the prediction puts the Vols up for a win on Saturday!
Brian (Alabama, currently ranked No.1) confidently challenged Kari (Arkansas) to a round of cornhole. Kari, outfitted in her Arkansas gear, was well prepared and focused. She landed all of her bags in and did a victory dance around Brian. It was a HUGE upset here at HQ—Brian has never lost to Kari! Sorry, ‘Bama, our super-serious predictions say Arkansas just might bring it home this weekend!
When we told Jake (Berkeley), that Matt (Ohio State) is 2-0 with his predictions; Jake took off his shoes, and got ready for some serious cornhole action. Jake went first and sailed the bags up into the sky, arching beautifully towards the board. Unfortunately, his killer form proved faulty—none landed in the hole. Matt stepped up next with a big smile… and nailed it! Will Matt’s luck continue? We think so… Bucks are taking this one.
In the final game, Jen (Virginia) and Alicia (Georgia Tech) kept us on our toes with two overtimes. Both of them had yet to win a prediction game. In the second OT, it looked like Jen had it, with one bag in. Alicia was worried, but she closed her eyes and made a wish for victory. And it worked! She landed both of her bags in the hole and the crowd went wild! The “buzz” is that the Yellow Jackets will be victorious on Saturday.
