SERIOUSLY SERIOUS GAME DAY PREDICTIONS, TAKE 4: ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS

Busy Saturday ahead for all of our Campus Classic football fans! Week four brought seven matchups for us to predict, so we rounded up some TOMS HQ folk and told them to meet at the bleachers for three rounds of (intense) Rock, Paper, Scissors.
Classic way to call a game, we thought, and all we needed were our hands and some luck. The opponents lined up, selected a school to represent, and let their hands do the talking. Here’s what we came up with for Saturday’s games:
After three rounds of shooting the same thing, Elise (UNC) and Jen (ECU) took this call to a suspenseful and telling elimination round. There, they changed it up, throwing the game in Elise’s favor. Winner: UNC Tar Heels!
Our repeat Gator competitor, Chelsea (Florida), went up against Natasha (Kentucky) this week. Twice in a row, she beat Natasha (once with scissors, once with paper), all followed by a little celebratory touchdown dance. Winner: Florida Gators!
Next, we asked Evita (Virginia) from the Giving team if she had brushed up on her skills lately. Luckily, she had. She defeated David (TCU) 2-1 in their three rounds. Winner: UVA Cavaliers!
Matt (Berkeley) and Erik (USC) went three rounds before Matt clinched it in the final with paper over rock. We should have warned Erik – Matt has gotten all his prediction right so far! Winner: Cal Bears!
For our fifth matchup, Kari (Miami) and Whitney (Georgia Tech) got right down to business. They tied the first round with scissors but Kari came back in the next two rounds (both times with rock!). Winner: Miami Hurricanes.
Harmony (Auburn) and Sarah (LSU) have been waiting to challenge each other for weeks. Rock, paper, scissors, GO – Sarah won two straight rounds and claimed the victory. Winner: LSU Tigers!
Alicia (Missouri) keeps claiming she’s never played any of these games before. We’re not sure if we buy it because this week, she won…again. Karen (South Carolina) was bummed when Alicia beat her 2-1. Winner: Mizzou Tigers!
Good luck to all the teams this weekend – we’ll be tuned into the games on Saturday with our predictions in hand!
