Here at TOMS HQ, we get totally pumped up for Game Day Predictions each week.  Week 5 is already upon us and our predictions are beginning to create a buzz. This Saturday brings us 4 matchups and, wouldn’t you know it, we had TOMS employees bursting at the seams to rep their schools! On the menu for this week…some old-fashioned arm wrestling!

These friendly matches were filled with intensity, but also provided us with a lot of laughs. Who knew cheering for a school could be so much fun?

Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages! Step right up and check out the matchup of the week! In what is already shaping up to be a close game, we decided to pick two of TOMS “burliest” fellows to test their strength against each other. Enter Travis (Tennessee) and KC (Georgia). These two gentlemen were not afraid to show off their school spirit and dove headfirst into the competition. The matchup was so good we had to share it. Check out the video above for the official prediction!

Next, we had Jenna, a Texas native; represent the Aggies (Texas A&M) in her pairing against Kari (Arkansas). Kari has chosen Arkansas in the past, but unfortunately her luck did not transfer onto the football field. This week, she decided she needed to redeem her faith in the Razorbacks and took them once more. We don’t know if it’s her height advantage or her affinity for the team, but Kari calls Razorbacks for the win on Saturday!

Our third match pitted our resident Cornhusker, Katie (Nebraska), and Lizzy (Wisconsin) against each other. Both were eager for the matchup, but Katie had hometown pride on the line. Would it be enough to secure a victory for the Cornhusker’s this week?

The last match of the day was Caleb (Kentucky) and Brian (South Carolina), friends turned rivals for this matchup. Up for grabs…bragging rights in the Community Team. Both of these gentlemen flexed their muscles in this battle. In fact, Brian was so confident, that this natural lefty used his right hand against Caleb. Looks like Brian’s instinct was right – South Carolina is taking it on Saturday!

Alas, with sore arms and deflated egos, 4 individuals stood victorious while the others returned to their desks, defeated. We hope you enjoyed this week’s competitions! Good luck to all the teams this Saturday in their quest to take home the “W.” Stay tuned next week for another edition of TOMS Campus Classic Predictions!
