TODAY is World Sight Day
Blindness and poor vision keep people trapped in poverty. Help us break the cycle.
TODAY, Thursday October 11, is World Sight Day and we want YOU, the folks who make up the TOMS community, to get involved! Here are 5 easy ways you can join us in being a voice for change this World Sight Day:
1. Share this post and the basic education of global blindness and vision impairment with your social media community
2. Tweet, post on Facebook, or Instagram this World Sight Day fact: “285 million people worldwide are visually impaired, but 80% don’t have to be.” (and throw on the hashtag: #GIVEsight)
3. Learn more about how to be part of the solution with TOMS Eyewear. With every pair of TOMS Eyewear you purchase, TOMS will help give sight to a person in need. One for One.
4. And after you share online… start a conversation! Talk with your friends, family, classmate, teachers, students, strangers, and neighbors, about how you can unite for sight and help change the way the world sees.
