Drew, on the TOMS Action Sports team, recently traveled with Giving Partner Coprodeli to Peru to help distribute TOMS Shoes to the children they serve. He shares with us a few moments from one day of his Giving trip:
“We went to one school, and it was the most remote place I’ve ever seen, reached after traveling for hours on dirt roads. We measured the kids to get their sizes and physically placed the shoes on their feet by hand. And then they wanted to go outside and play! Playing breaks down the barrier of communication, and the language difference melts away.”
