We’re firm believers in the companionship of a durable journal within this TOMS family of ours. You may have guessed it from the still-vivid details we share when reflecting on past Giving trips or anecdotes from the archives of TOMS HQ. You’ll find journals sprinkled all about these parts, and that’s why we’re especially glad we unwrapped an awesome one to offer you today, the halfway point of our 12 Days of Giving.

Notes from the field

Earlier this year philanthropist and model Kyleigh Kuhn joined us on a Giving trip. Here’s an entry from her own journal when we visited the Visualiza Eye Care Center in Guatemala:

“The waiting room at the eye clinic is one of those unique places that contain both hope & fear — excitement & hesitation…I was astonished to hear one man explain that he had a cataract removed 20 years ago, but they did not replace a new lens. Such a simple procedure, needlessly prolonged.”
