Teaching teachers about vision
With the support of TOMS Eyewear and our lead Sight Giving Partner, Seva Foundation, the Lumbini Eye Institute in Nepal has been showing local teachers how to screen for potential eye issues. Often educators are the first to notice vision problems when kids have difficulty seeing the blackboard. Now, nearly 200 teachers can properly diagnosis visual impairments and refer a child to a local eye center for treatment — as part of Lumbini’s efforts to create long-term, self-sustaining treatment programs.
Try a new perspective: Bordeaux Crystal Kitty
Tis the season to get festive and we have the perfect accessory to do just that. Enter our Bordeaux Crystal Kitty Eyewear: this limited-edition style features an all-red palette, suitable for the season, if we do say so ourselves. Each pair in this series of 100 is numbered and inscribed with “give joy” inside the temples. This new silhouette combines vintage, cat-eye angles with a sleek, comfortable design. Added bonus: these frames (as with all our TOMS Eyewear) are One for One and frankly, we can think of anything more in the holiday spirit then that.
