Faced with the prospect of wearing her ill-fitting, used shoes, Roslelor preferred to go barefoot — putting this 11-year-old, Haitian girl at risk for injuries and soil-transmitted infections. But when she received her first brand-new pair of shoes (a pair that actually fit) from TOMS and Giving Partner IMA World Health, she was happy to wear them. “I will wear them to school,” Roslelor gladly explained. Combined with medical treatment provided by IMA, the shoes are an important line of defense against disease.
Roslelor is just one story. With your help and the work of our Giving Partners, TOMS is now giving shoes in more than 50 countries around the world!
