What Is Ben Kweller Happy To See?
We are constantly inspired by unique images (especially with the rise of Instagram and Pinterest!), and we are endlessly curious about what people see.
For World Sight Day 2012, we took that interest to our fans, challenging them to post a photo that answered this simple question: “I am happy to see.” In addition to the sight-saving stories we hear through our Giving Partners, this concept also helps us remember how special our sight really is. And we aren’t the only ones who feel that way.
When we met Ben Kweller in San Fran at the Hardly Strictly Festival, we gave him the lowdown on the “I am happy to see” idea for World Sight Day, and he was down to get involved. A rad rocker like BK gets to see a lot of neat stuff, so we were super stoked when he sent along photos of things he was happy to see during his recent adventures through South America.
