It’s difficult not to have caught a glance at the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project TOMS Shoes. They’re bright, sunshiny orange Classics, and they have a hefty backstory that parallels our friendship and long-term collaboration with CTAOP.
Where we’d usually take this time to show you how we wear the product of this collab, we tapped into the CTAOP team to share why we wear them. They’re a tiny, quirky bunch with a lot of deep knowledge, a lot of passion, and now a lot of weird photo evidence, detailed in this post.
Read on to see Ashlee, Lorrie and Molly the Intern (plus, two dogs) wear the CTAOP TOMS, and learn why these ladies find meaning in sporting the shoes that will help keep African youth safe HIV/AIDS…

Yes, TOMS fans/friends/followers: you heard it on Facebook first, and the message has stayed strictly on Social Media: we do, in fact, have Periodic Table Vegan Classics waiting for you on our site!
But it’s only a matter of time before the rest of our less-social buddies get wind of the coolest nerd invention in a while, so ditch that Trapper Keeper and pocket protector to update your geeky swag with TOMS Periodic Table shoes. Links + looks on Facebook…
